Ali Dost Khan, (Brigadier General)
Ali Dost Khan was known a talented military officer in British Indian Army in in 1920’s. He served with Hazara Pioneer
in Biritish Indian army . He participated in different military operation in China Boer wars in south Africa and including
World War 1st, along with other allied forces against German forces in the front of France. After his retirement he jioned
Afghan army and designated rank of Major General during King Aman Ullah Khan era. Ali Dost Khan was awarded several war medals
in India during his service.
He wrote his autobiography under title of "Yaag Fararee" (one deserter) in persian. He mentions about his
early life starts from Afghanistan, military services with the British army and aftermath. He died in Kabul.
Barat Ali Taj:
Barat Ali Taj was representatives of Hazaras in the struggle for democracy in Afghanistan during King Zahir Shah. He was
one of the founder of first democratic organization called "Hizb Watan" established in Kabul in 1950. by a group of democracy
supporter of Kabul. Barat Ali was finance secretry of the party and later became member of Kabul Munciple CorporationGovernment
put him in prison against his political activities for democracy. he was inprison for 10 years in 1952 and released later.
Barat Ali Taj:

Bunyad Khan Hazara:
Bunyad Khan was the son of Mohammed Shah of Heart. He succecede over his brother Mohammed Khan. He was killed by Sher Mohammed
about 1830.
Ghulam Nabi Khan, Babu:
Babu Ghulam Nabi was a Behsud Hazara. His father migrated from Afghanistan to Parachinar and lived there for long time.
He worked with Hazara pioneer as clerk and participated in 1st world war in mesopotemia. He had complete comand on english
language that why he was taken with the New Delhi by deleigation of Nort West Frontier tribal Maliks to meet Qaid Azam Mohammad
Ali Jinnah to assure their support. He also visited England and europe in 1930s with with the Royal family of King Aman Ullah
Khan. He died in Quetta.
Gul Mohammad Khan Hazara:
He was a brave soldier from Jaghuri Hazara fought in the front line against Habib Ullah Bachay Saqa forces. King Aman Ullah
Khan fled to Ghazni in April 1929, and Hazaras of Ghazni took arm in the favour of King Aman Ullah Khan. Gul Mohammad Khan
were captured by Saqavi forces and hanged publically in Kabul. His head was hanging along with other fighters in Kabul for
several days. Still the people of Jaghuri are singing her mother’s famous sorrow songs. Which is called "Makhtay
Gul Mohammad Khan".
Gul Mohammad Khan:
He was son of Mohammad Yusuf Khan Hazara of Heart. He was chief of Hazara community in Farmanabad Khorasan in 1889. He
was also Hakim (Governor) of Bakhars or Shari Nao in 1884-85.
Hafeeza Shaheed:
Hafeeza Shaheed 9 years was younger sisiter of Khaleeiq Shaheed who assassinated King Nadir Shah in 1933. After the assassination
of Nadir Shah Government authority has taken him along her mother and Aunty in the women prison called Zindadn-e-Zanana
Sarai Badam of Kabul. After few days in detention they were all killed and burried in the night in unknown graveyard of Kabul
in 1933.
Mirza Hussain Chengezi:
Mirza Hussain Chagezi was a famous nationalist political labour union leader in 1970s among Hazaras In Quetta Pakistan.
He founded several political organization for the awarness of the people. He established Tanzeem Nao Nehal League for
children, Itehad Jafakashan Hazara for labourer and Tehrik Naujawanan Hazara for youth. Mirza Hussain Changezi
was well-motivated political person. He has been educating Hazara community for many years. He has been deported to Iran from
where he came by local Hazara politician. Mirza Hussain were preaching Mao school of thought among the Hazaras.
Faiz Mohammed Kateb "Hazara"
Historian, writer and intellectual, Faiz Mohammed "Hazara" was among the renowned group
of Afghans seeking social and political changes in the country, at the beginning of the 20th century. He was a member of what
became known as Junbish-i Mashrutyat or The Constitutionals Movement.
He is the son of Sa'eed Mohammed Hazara of Ghazni
province. Born in 1881 AD, Faiz Mohammed is best known for his history book of Afghanistan called "Sarajul Tawarikh", which
provides one of the best references on the 19th century Afghan history.
The book was written by the encouragement of
the court of Amir Habibullah Khan. He was a court clerk, initially, thus the title of Kateb( clerk) in his name. Faiz Mohammed
was also the biographer of the Amir. Amir Habibullah Khan imprisoned him in Sherpur for his political activities and his role
in the Constitutionalists Movement. But was soon released by the Amir due to their personal friendship and for having labored
to author the famous Sirajul Tawarikh. Beside Sirajul Tawarikh (5 volumes), he worte 24 books the famous books are:
1-Tuhfatul Habib: Afghan History (1747-1880), in two volumes. (The original script, hand-written by Faiz
Mohammed has been taken out by someone "Habibi" perhaps Abdul Hai Habibi famous historian of Afghanistan from Kabul archives
and sold to National archives Karachi Pakistan. The author has got microfilm of that hand written scripts, which about 700
pages.)
2- Faiz-i az Fayoozat
3- Tazkeratul Enqilaab: accounts of the days of Habibullah,
Bacha-e Saqaw
4- History of Ancient Prophets/Rulers, from Adam to Jesus (in Dari)
In 1929, Habibullah,
Bacha-e Saqaw, issued a decree on the names of the renown Shiites of Kabul such as Mohammed Ali Jauntier Chandawali, Qazi
Shuhaab, Khalifa Mohmmed Hussein, Ustad Gholam Hassan, and
Faiz Mohammad Hazara. They were asked to travel to Dai-Zangi
and obtain the support of the Hazara populous in that area. But the Hazara people refused to do so, and the Shiite leaders
of Kabul City returned without any success.
The disappointed Habibullah then order them punished for failing in their mission.
In the result of the brutal beating, Faiz Mohammad Hazara got sick for a few days, but later died on Wednesday, 4th-Ramadhan,
1347 Hijri Qamari(
Feb-14-1929) in Kabul.
Khudai Nazar ( Birgadier):
Born 1850. in Karabagh Ghazni. He commanded Zabardast Battalion of Afghan army. In 1901 commanded the Zabardast and Zardposh
Battalions in ARIOBand succeded in quelling a mutiny among them that year. Promoted Birgadier and transferred to Kabul in
1905. Birgadier in Khost in 1906 but releaved in the atum of 1907. In December 1907 reported to be officerincharge of recruiting.
Reported to have sent to Turkistan in January 1908to inspect the boarder post. Retired in Kabul in 1913.
Masjidi Khan Hazara:
One of the renowned figure of King Nadir Shah era. Masjidi Kahn were an intilectual educating people through secret litrature
and and lectures against the injustice activities of King Nadir shah in Kabul. He put in prison along with other Afghan reformer
like Mir Ghulam Mohammad Ghubar etc. Later he was killed in the prison.
Maula Dad Khan Hazara
Maula dad Khan Hazara belonged to Kabul and living during King Nadir Shah period. He was part of the other reformist of
that time. Lateron he was killed in prison by King Nadir Shah in Kabul.
Mir Baba Syed: Hazara
Born 1828, son of syed Idres Hafiz Shah( Syed Hafiz Khan the father of Syed Mir Baba, was the son of Syed Ghulam Raza the
son of MirShah Ali Razakhan who, in the reign of Ahmed Shah Abdali was appointed Naib of Turkistan) married to the daughetr
of Shah Ali Akber the father of Syed Mohammad Taki. Had three sons: Syed Shah Abdullah, Syed Mohammad Mehdi, Syed Amir ut
Talib Khan. The family owned a good deal of land in the Ghazni district. Mir Baba also enjoyed two allownces from the Kabul
treasury, the first of these was bestwed on the then head of the familiyby Amir Dost Mohammad Khan, the second was granted
by Yaqoob Khan. The head of the familiy was always mad( if fit for the appointment) assistant, Musahib, to the Hakim of Behsud
and Dehzangi.
Mir Kush Sultan:
He was son of Kafilan Sulat Hazara. He was chief of Hazara in Qalai Nao of Heart. Originaly he was from Murghab. Mir Kush’s
sonAghai Sulta, appears to have been the founder of Qalai Nao, which has since his time been the head quarters of the Hazara
tribe and centre of their district. The Qalai Nao Hazarahave played a fair ly cosiderable part in the history of Heart since
their establishment in the province by Nadir Shah.
Basicaly Qalai Nao Hazra were renowned from Dai Zangi and Dai Kundi ( Hazarajat)
and settle them on the frontier of Heart by Nadir Shah.
Mohammad Ibrahim Bamyani;
Bamyani Belongs from Bamyan Hazarajat. He is a literary person of Hazarajat. He has written a booklet on the folklore of
Hazara Jat called (Folklore Hazarajat) in Dari.
Mehmood Khan Hazara:
He was Hazara chiefarround 1880. He was sent with 1000 families to Colomize Balamurghab in September1883. Arrested and
sent to Kabul, August 1886, and remained in attendance on Amir Abdur Rahman.
Mohammad Khan ( Beglar Begi):
He was grand son of Kafilan Sultan of Heart and son of Mohammed Shah Khan. He was the chief of Hazaras in Heart during
the time of Taimur Shah Durani
Mohammad Khan ( Nizam Ud Dawla)
He was the chief of Hazara in Heart in the year 1884-66 with the title of Nizam Ud Dawla. He was summond bo Kabul by Amir
Abdur Rahman Khan in 1886.
Sher Mohammad:
He was the chief of Hazars in Murghab in 1884. in Qalai Nao of Herat.
Mohammad Ismail Khan: ( Maj: Gen.)
General Ismail Khan was son of Colonel Yousuf Khan of Qalai Nao Heart.He was chief of 1200 families Sunni Hazaras in Khorasan.
He has granted the title of Shuja Ul Mulk by Nasir ud Din Shah of Iran in 1894.He again appionted Governor of Bakharz in 1896
till 1898.
Mohammad Khan (Beglar Begi):
He was one of the most influence leader of Hazaras. He was the founder of Shahri Nao in Bakhzer in Khorasan Iran. He was
leading 10,000 Hazaras in Bakhers.
